In short
AnkaadiX Invo ("the app," "we," "us") is a point-of-sale invoicing app for Android, published under the AnkaadiX name. This policy explains what information the app handles, what a third-party service (Google AdMob) collects on our behalf to show ads, and the choices available to you.
AnkaadiX Invo is intentionally built with no backend server and no user accounts — it's designed to work entirely offline. The sections below reflect that: most of what would normally be a "data collection" disclosure for an app instead describes data that stays on your device and never reaches us at all.
As you use the app, it stores the following directly on your device, in the app's private local storage:
The app shows ads using Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob (and the Google Play services it depends on) automatically collects information such as your advertising ID, general device and app information, approximate location derived from IP address, and how you interact with ads. This collection is performed by Google, not by AnkaadiX Invo directly — see §4 for detail and how to control it.
Local data (§2.1) is used solely to power the app's own features — building an invoice, printing or sharing a receipt, and suggesting a previously used product or phone number. It is never analyzed, aggregated, sold, or shared by us, because it never leaves your device.
Advertising data (§2.2) is used by Google to select, serve, and measure the App Open, banner, and rewarded ads shown in the app, per Google's own policies (§4).
AnkaadiX Invo is supported by ads served through Google AdMob, in three places:
Watching a rewarded ad doesn't submit any of your app data to us or to the ad — it's purely a screen you watch before the app continues. Google AdMob operates independently and, per its own policies, may collect and process:
This data may be used by Google to serve ads relevant to your interests, unless you've limited ad personalization (§8). For full detail on what Google collects and how it's used, see:
The app requests the following Android permissions. None of them are used to identify you personally, and none send data to us.
| Permission | Why the app needs it |
|---|---|
| CAMERA | To scan product barcodes/QR codes when searching for or adding a product. No photos are taken, saved, or transmitted — the camera feed is only analyzed on-device to read a code. |
| BLUETOOTH_CONNECT BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_ADMIN | To connect to a receipt printer you've already paired with your device, so a receipt can be printed. The app never scans for nearby devices — printers are added from your device's already-paired list. |
| INTERNET ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Required for ads (§4) to load. AnkaadiX Invo's own features (invoicing, products, printing) work fully offline and don't use these permissions themselves. |
Your business data (§2.1) is kept in the app's private storage area, which other apps cannot access. It is removed permanently when you clear the app's storage or uninstall it.
AnkaadiX Invo participates in Android's standard device backup system. If you have Android device backup enabled on your phone, your business data may be included in your own device's backup to your Google Account, the same as any other app's data — this is a feature of Android itself, managed under your device's own Settings, not something AnkaadiX Invo initiates or has access to independently.
AnkaadiX Invo is a business tool intended for shop owners and staff, not for children. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us (§10) and we'll address it.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here before or as they take effect. We encourage checking back periodically.
